Salida Newcomers and Neighbors welcomes individuals and families (over the age of 18) who have moved to Salida and the surrounding communities within the past three years or residents who are seeking new opportunities to connect, engage, and build relationships within the community. As a growing organization, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for newcomers and neighbors to connect with one another, meet local community leaders, and discover all that makes Salida such a special place to call home. Through social gatherings, casual meet-and-greets, annual events, and informative programs, members can explore local resources, learn about the area’s rich culture and history, and enjoy the many recreational opportunities that define life in the Rockies.
