MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Thank you for considering membership with Salida Newcomers and Neighbors. We hope you will find these key points about joining the organization helpful.

New residents, 18 years of age and over, who have lived in the Salida area for three years or less are eligible for membership in Salida Newcomers and Neighbors or residents who are seeking new opportunities to connect, engage, and build relationships within the community.

A prospective member may visit one yearly meeting for free. A paid membership is required to participate in club activities and events.

New members can join any time throughout the year.

Annual dues are $50 per person. Venmo, Cash, or Checks made out to Salida Newcomers and Neighbors are accepted.

The membership year runs July 1 through June 30 of the following year for all members.

Those who join after April 1 are signed up for the following fiscal year, so through June of the next year.

Renewals are due on July 1, but no later than October 15.

Salida Newcomers & Neighbors encourages members to share their experiences, suggestions, and recommendations as they help one another discover and enjoy the community. Recommendations shared by members are personal opinions and should not be considered endorsements by the organization, except when Salida Newcomers & Neighbors expressly identifies a business or organization as an official Partner.
To maintain our focus on friendship and community, the organization does not permit commercial solicitation, advertising, or the promotion of political or religious viewpoints by members or non-members. Official Partners may be recognized and promoted through Salida Newcomers & Neighbors communications, including our website, newsletters, social media channels, and events, in accordance with their partnership benefits.
We strive to provide a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members.
Salida Newcomers & Neighbors is run entirely by volunteers. Anyone interested in starting a new activity group, leading an existing group, volunteering, or serving on the Board is encouraged to contact us at info@salidanewcomers.org.
